The day will never come, but I really hope some day they make a Mario Party spin off movie where Mario pulls a SAW kind of plot and ruins everybody’s childhood like that weird Winnie the Pooh horror flick that recently came out.
Watched a strange rendition of Peter Pan recently where Peter was a child abductor and Tinkerbell was a child he had abducted years ago and has been shooting up with heroine or pcp for years calling it pixie dust. Not sure id recommend it, but if that exists… You might get your wish of Mario Party haha

Write the movie now and wait. The day it hits public domain you’ll be ready.
Not 100% the same thing, but There Will Be Brawl was fun. Kirby was a Hannibal Lecter killer in that show.
This was a great series. So much nostalgia.
Good news you only have to wait until 2080 when Mario enters the public domain, assuming copyright doesn’t get extended again by then
