      FTA:

“Catch up quick: Jean-Pierre became the first Black woman and openly LGBTQ+ person to become the White House press secretary after Jen Psaki left the post.”

I think it’s safe to say she’s not sucking up to Republicans, but crazier things have happened!

She’s using “partisan” as a buzzword. It’s either an appeal to voters who have soured on the Democrat name or it’s a validation fascism as equally valid.

I’m hoping it’s the former. But considering she was never really great at the press secretary thing, I’m wondering if she’ll be the token ex-Dem for right-wingers.

Democratic brand is currently an albatross. Expect a lot of people going “independent” for lack of a defined third party in the coming years. We saw in 24 what a determined group who despise genocide above all can do to sway a presidential election.

I’m betting it depends on how well the book sells.

Also seems more like she’s not leaving because of any policy, only because mean dnc admitted Biden couldn’t continue to campaign/be the candidate

Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has become an independent after serving under two Democratic presidents, according to the publisher of a new book from Jean-Pierre out this fall.

Cool just a PR stunt to bring up press coverage on another person’s book.
