You think Kamala would have sent the national gaurd to California against the governor’s wishes?
I mean the dems are useless and probably wouldn’t have accomplished too much, but we wouldn’t be living in a fascist state and she would have probably at least have been trying to codify Roe v. Wade.
Nobody in this comment thread has even insinuated that any Democrat would be this bad. I was talking about Newsom being a Democrat who wouldn’t try to address the underlying issues that have made people open to fascism, and the other commenter was talking about centrist Democrats’ apparent electoral weakness. You (and the other guy) are arguing with a straw man.
No, I’m saying that the Dems are going to keep getting walloped at the polls until they start running actual reformers who are going to try and improve people’s to lives. They keep sending putting forward the same messge for the past decade that clearly isn’t working

The comment I replied to seemed to be referencing how dems tried to pander to centrist and courted Liz Cheney of all people for Kamala’s campaign.
