Musk has plenty of places to go. He could spend the rest of his life in Europe/Australia/Asia and be fine.
The humanitarian concerns surrounding deportation don’t apply to him. He won’t be homeless. He won’t be separated from family. He certainly won’t be roughed up by masked goons.
I have a principled stance and it doesn’t apply to him because he is not in danger of losing his civil rights.
As much as I’d enjoy the schadenfreude, you’re right. It’s impossible to take a principled stance if you only enforce it when it suits you.
Elon actually broke some immigration rules, no idea if there is a statute of limitations on that though.
In that case, by all means. But deport him through the proper channels, not ICE nonsense.
