Trump doesn’t want to trade anything for Edward Snowden, because Snowden doesn’t pose any kind of future threat to Trump’s regime. Nobody’s cared about Edward Snowden in nearly a decade.
These dissidents are actively proselytizing against Putin’s regime, so he’s eager to have them publicly humiliated and then squelched.
