Bell’s Palsy maybe? I don’t think stroke victims are able to pretend they are well while it is in progress.

That was my first thought too. Bells Pasy just makes your face droop. You’re not cognitively impaired in any way from it. My step dad had that back about 10 years ago maybe? Only thing that makes me think it might be more is his face is far droopier than my stepdads ever was.

I feel like Bells Palsy is a sort of paralysis from the virus/bacteria (i forget which one it is that causes it). And this seemed more extreme. But who knows, cant diagnose someone from a picture.

Edit: Cause unknown for Bells Pasy. You learn something new every day. I thought it was caused by a virus or bacterial infection, thats what I was told as a kid.

I believe you right side can stay paralyzed after a stroke. Doesn’t have to be in progress.

Yeah my knowledge of strokes is quite limited. I only figured out there were different types, i.e. blood vessels in brain bursting vs blockage in heart stopping blood to brain. There are probably more.

That was my thought too. It happened to my mom once. Half of the face sort of sags
