Did anyone else watch Kat’s video of being “thrown” to the ground and think it was more like a push followed by loss of balance? To me, “thrown to the ground” means you give them more downward force than just gravity.
e; so it turns out there have been multiple times Kat’s been put on the ground by ICE agents at this facility and I’m not 100% sure this video is documenting the same specific occasion that Ingraham was talking about, but still - (end of edit)

no.
The clip you showed there was what I was thinking of. I saw it as part of a much larger video posted by Kat, and I wasn’t sure that was the “throw” everyone else was referencing. It’s definitely that officer’s fault she went to the ground. He threw her laterally, causing her to fall backwards.
So she wasn’t “thrown” just thrown laterally? Wut?
“thrown to the ground” vs. thrown (really, pushed) laterally. Yep.
It may seem minor. If someone said they were punched, and you watched their video and they were slapped hard, you’d wonder why they were sloppy in the characterization. It doesn’t make slapping good.
We know what you’re doing. Just putting that out there
STFU.
Should be zero force applied.
You bootlicking POS.
I just watched the video, and yep, the officer didn’t literally grab her by the ankles and spin around about 8 times before shouting, “for Israel!” Which is what he was trained to do by the IDF, finally letting her go, grinning maniacally, Kat spinning wildly through the air for at least 8 feet (an 8 foot clearing distance is one of the minimum qualifications to be considered a “throw” according to the Police Pitching a Protestor Pamphlet published by Potty Person Press). Kat did not say “you threw me” confirming the action and the cop didn’t do the required post-throw dance ritual followed by saying “oh yeah!” Like the koolaid man.
So it definitely doesn’t meet the qualifications according to the most standard definitions. I’ve never seen more corruption in the media than willfully misrepresenting the brave officer’s actions here. You’re right to hold your ground on this issue, keep fighting the good fight, comrade
That’s your gripe? That’s what you’re splitting hairs on? The angle of force delineating “shove” vs. “push”? What a weak-as-fuck whinge.
One would think most people possess a cognitive filter to keep that level of stupid from escaping the bounds of their internal monologue. Well, maybe a decade ago, one would… 🤔
No, I share the main gripe as everyone else. It’s also important to me that my “side” be as accurate as possible. I am raising a side issue.
I’m sure you and others have the capacity to discuss more than one thing at once.
You’re raising a non-issue. She was assaulted, can you live with that terminology?
Of course. She was shoved in way that caused her to fall backwards. I have been pretty clear about that.
There is at least one where she was lifted off of her feet and thrown to the ground.
Then that must be what everyone is talking about. If you ever find it, post here.
