Do you get pushed around or are you willing to defend those getting pushed if you know it’s wrong?

I ask because so many people are soft but not gentle. They demand peace but aren’t peaceful. I find them weak. So I want to know. Be honest.

UPDATE: I find it utterly pathetic that people can’t take real criticism. Like they are triggered over anything that needs to be said.

I simply forgot to mention it. Just adding extra context so people get my point better even though they’ll be mad anyway for “unknown” reasons.

i guess it was just too petty to even consider. i wouldn’t have guessed anyone would read that much into something as trivial as a handful of downvotes. calling everyone ‘pathetic’, ‘triggered’ and ‘unable to take criticism’ over something as minor as downvotes honestly hadn’t occured to me. as you say, downvotes are cheap.

Your post is short, but exhausting to read.

In your shoes, I would stop and re-read my posts and comments to see how I am presenting myself.

What’s so exhausting about OP? It’s direct, short and sweet, and at least upholds something of value (being brave) instead of not. It’s not a crime to be a coward either, and online one can at least be open without feeling like you’re losing too much face or whatever (so this kinda question is better suited for online spaces than not).

i kinda get it. it just has big “i’m 14 and am probably the only smart person to ever live” energy.

Maybe, maybe. But I’m in my 30s so if anything I would just find it cute and congratulate the 14yo for at least being inquisitive and profound to whatever degree they are instead of posting silly dances on TikTok for instance, lol.

I think I’m brave at times but in the past I’ve been mostly reckless which is not really bravery but insanity and suicidal disregard for one’s safety, lol.

Also, you’re in an online Western space which means that even without pointing fingers towards any particular user, you’re gonna get downvoted if you make people “feel criticised”. 🤷😂
