Yeah, the self-flagellation, defeatism, and guilt are just the ego flaring up in response to reality contradicting the propagandized view of burgerland which we each must destroy in our own minds. None of the three are helpful, yet it seems to be all we have at the moment.
I’m intrigued by your comment, not sure if I totally grasp it.
But I want to add, we need to find a method to convert those things into action and organization.
I can realize within myself that I’m overly angry, but I do attribute that to constantly fighting american leftists over if the usa is bad or not. They fucking deprogram a bit to see “yeah maybe we should have healthcare”, then parrot imperialist talking points or say heinous things.
It’s like they freeze and react negatively when someone points our “actually america IS bad and worse than you are realizing”, then its back to burgerland defense force somehow.
Maddening shit.
But the point is to realize the gravity and reality of the situation. Not to shit on any individual, but to understand the problems we must resolve. So conversion of the guilt, defeatism, and circlejerk MUST be converted into action.
