Donald Trump has said that he does not “need international law” and that his power is limited only by his “own morality”.
In a new interview with the New York Times, Trump said the only constraint to his power as president of the US is “my own morality, my own mind”.
“It’s the only thing that can stop me,” Trump said, adding: “I’m not looking to hurt people.” He went on to concede “I do” in regards to whether his administration needed to adhere to international law, but said: “It depends on what your definition of international law is.”

Truthfully, it’s because we have a critical mass of people who fall into at least one of three categories. They are either bigots, stupid, and/or utterly selfish. We’ve been on this path for a while. There’s a sickness in American culture, and Trump is just a symptom of it.
Mostly selfishness. The US is the epitome of individualism.
Agreed. But that also puts those people into the category of stupid unless they’re also billionaires. Trump and his ilk won’t do anything for the vast majority of his voters. It’s plain as day to anyone who has a brain.
