When Windows users suddenly discover that their files have vanished from their desktops after interacting with OneDrive, the issue often stems from how Microsoft’s cloud service integrates with the operating system. The automatic, near-invisible shift to cloud-based storage has triggered strong reactions from users who find the feature unintuitive and, in some cases, destructive to their local files.

“All these people saying they know people who’ve died in car accidents are talking bullshit. I drive every day, and I’ve not died.”

People refuse to accept the concept that sometimes people say things that are untrue, and if enough people make the same claim it becomes ‘True’ even if its ‘False’

I’m with you, Thousands of GB’s of Files across literally hundreds of machines both personally and for machines I’m responsible for. Literally never seen it doing whats being claimed here.

I’m not saying its not possible, I just believe that people are more stupid than truthful. Remember almost everyone who loses access to their Social media will say their ‘It was hacked’ when actually what they mean is “I’m a fucking moron and I gave my credentials away”
