    They’re probably receiving guidance from above that this is the way to go because the administration wants some of them to get shot to escalate things further.

      Right, can you imagine that after signing up for a $50,000 bonus—money that can only be collected after five years of service—your boss tells you to break and enter into suburban houses with the full knowledge that the United States has the highest number of guns per capita, 120.5 guns for every 100 residents, and rights to protect themselves? All while the hope is that one of these goons gets shot for Trumps big martial law experiment.

      Yup. This is exactly it. All of it as a way to set up a situation to declare Martial Law and then shut down the mid-terms from happening.

        If the Civil War didn’t stop elections, martial law won’t. The states will just hold elections anyway.

          Maybe it won’t stop elections. But it will influence voter turnout in a way that’s unfavorable to blue states.

          You’re right, martial law won’t stop elections, but will they use martial law as an excuse to stop elections? We’ll see.
