It is time for local and state governments to resist more forcefully the lawlessness and cowardice of an out-of-control federal government under the thumb of Trump.
First step is not putting your hope that the people who got you into this mess who have every reason to not try and get you out this mess, can and will fix it.
Part of the purpose of consequences is to stop the damage.
Obama’s whole “Lets not look backward” schtick is what allowed every single person responsible for the Iraq war and 2008 financial crisis, and the 2010 foreclosure-fraud crisis to maintain their positions of power.
That’s one of the things I fear, that the democrats will somehow regain power but utterly fail to hold anyone accountable for this mess and then later on Stephen Miller will become president
