You have to realize, someone who views life as a transaction, is a malignant narcissist, and has wealth is capable of the WORST of depravities a human can commit. I had a father like him and my sisters had to lock their doors to their rooms despite him demanding and even breaking through a door once. He liked to go to the bathroom when they showered.
