“The Republicans should say, we want to take over, we should take over the voting, the voting in at least many, 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting,” Trump told Dan Bongino, the former deputy director of the FBI, in a podcast appearance.

[…]

On several occasions, Trump has pledged to change how the country votes, zeroing in on methods he falsely claims lead to fraudulent voting. In August, he said he was going to “lead a movement” to end mail-in ballots, and vowed to sign an executive order banning them, in addition to voting machines. He did not end up signing the order.

The president also kicked off a rare mid-decade redistricting campaign intended to help Republicans win additional US House seats in November’s midterm elections.

Its when the first major exodus from Reddit was, around the API restrictions. Before that Lemmy was barely fledgling, practically unpopulated.

You’re joking right? In the 2024 election you think Lemmy was unpopulated?

      I’m dying laughing.

        In the 2024 election

Do I need to get the whiteboard out and work this out for you? It was the summer of 2023. I get that you are largely under attack in this thread, but you are quite literally flailing at everyone who respond to you right now.

Jfc, you can’t even follow your own thread.

The major influx into lemmy happened the summer of 2023, approximately 2.7 years ago. It coincided with reddit making preparations to go public, specifically, banning third party apps and making drastic changes to their API. Approximately 15 months before the 2024 election.

At this point it was very clear that you are not reading anything or comprehending anything I am saying and therefore we should just stop now. I suggest maybe you go outside and take a big breath while you still have freedom to do so.

Have the day you voted for.

Well you are just being an idiot incapable of basic math. I’m not sure what high-horse you think that puts you on.

Your responses also consistently rhyme with some formerly banned accounts I can recall. Is your other sock-puppet no longer able to post in this sub?

Oh I’ve been banned probably a thousand times from various communities but not necessarily this one. Being banned doesn’t mean I’m bad. It means I’m not one of the center-right “obey the rules” lemmy users who have mod power.

You can accuse me of getting banned all you want but to me it’s a badge of honor.

I don’t disagree, and I’ve worked relentlessly to push back against that authority when it worked to suppress narratives and issues with Biden as candidate, when it worked to shut down honest discussion around how Harris was performing and what it would take for them to win. Hit @[email protected] up for specifics. I’ve never not been vocal about the importance of having an open space to discuss and argue.
