Jokes in general are infinitely re-hashable, which is fine as long as the comedian puts in the effort to make it their own and doesn’t just steal the joke and try to pass it off as their own.

That’s not particularly exclusive to comics. Jokes in general are infinitely re-hashable, which is fine as long as the comedian puts in the effort to make it their own and doesn’t just steal the joke and try to pass it off as their own.
And that’s exactly what I don’t see in most comics :(
