  • That’s history that, at least in my region, we learn about in school. For the most part, we let them do their thing nowadays and aren’t actively commiting genocide on them. Police brutality on them may speak differently, but the majority of people who aren’t racist and/or rich already want the police gone because of their brutality.

As for the rest of the states, it’s a mixed bag due to bad eggs, but I’m fairly certain the official government stance is accepting of the fact we’ve treated both natives and African Americans bad. It’s why we learn about it. Tried looking it up, but was suspiciously finding a lot of content from Chinese embassies in America about how we need to come to terms with the Native American genocides and atrocities, from around the same time as the tribunal, maybe a month or two after people started reporting on it. Very suspicious timing on their part. Couldn’t find what I was looking for because I kept getting Chinese (.gov.cn) links over any official US links, which is very suspicious to me because it looks a lot like search result rigging in my eyes.

    Edit:

Search result rigging, not search engine rigging.

  • The Star Wars Battlefront games. With how horribly the liver service EA version that came out in 2015 was and how dead it apparently is, the PS2 games are the only ones I’ll ever acknowledge as existing.

Also, one of my personal favorites that I’d consider a must have is Dokopon Kingdom. Yes the remake/remaster exists, but I don’t normally go for remasters in most situations. Gameplay is just roll a spinner, move on board, and adventure around the world while trying to do quests if you are in the story mode.

Both games have a lot of content and replayability in my eyes, which makes a game more of a must have for me.

    Edit:

Hot Wheels: Beat That! Looked it up because I couldn’t remember the name, but that’s a racing game with a good amount of replayability and isn’t as short as something like Cartoon Network Racing. Didn’t realize it came out on various other consoles and PC, but can definitely recommend on at least PS2 (how I ended up playing it).

  • The bigger question is do they care. At worst they get a slap on the wrist by the US government. At best they get to control the narrative and have books like having history books on their platform talk about how the the Allies first striked Nazi Germany because they were lifting the country out of economic crisis and making the world a better place.

I doubt they’ll care or listen if EU says stop since they’ll just find a way around whatever they have planned to try and stop revisionist ideology from taking hold.

  • I don’t know about other churches, but the Methodist Church I used to go to with my grandma never had a pastor out of the 2 I witnessed that did stuff like that. Maybe it depends on the region, but I’ve never heard of those type of manipulative strategies where I live, so I’d say I’m pretty lucky on that front. Closest I’ve probably heard of something like that in my area are the Mormons, but that’s a whole nother can of worms that I don’t wanna touch.

Regardless, that doesn’t sound right or like a very Christian thing to do. Even if the verses tell of similar things, context for those verses are real important, just like with any other readings (religious or otherwise).

  • Puh-lease, the Chinese would have to obliterate me before I let them take over. My plan in the event of a war where we are against them is already to do anything they need me to do for civilian duty since I am couldn’t even join the military if I wanted due to health conditions beyond my control.

I wouldn’t go out without a struggle for some poor, miserable soldier with their self heating bomb they call MREs.
