I respect the effort of creating this search engine and the effort to create a good privacy focused browser. However I didn’t appreciate the fact that the latest update to the browser set this search engine as the default.

Why would the writer keep giving a lack of integrated Google account sync as a limitation of privacy focused browsers? Especially when they’re trying to free themselves from control by American companies and mention Google specifically? Seems like a feature rather than a limitation to me.

I’m probably a nightmare to get hold of at a moment’s notice – and should never, ever be someone’s In Case of Emergency, much to my partner’s chagrin.

Any phone will allow you to still receive notifications for select contacts or numbers that call repeatedly in a given time frame with DND on so she’s chosen to not be directly contactable by her partner or be his emergency contact. I thought it would take several generations for people to come around to forming relationships with AI but I can see LLM powered sex robots (which already exist) becoming socially acceptable fairly soon. I can remember when meeting your partner online used to be seen as sad, but less than 30 years after the first dating site launched it’s become the most common way couples meet.
