Yeah, like I can’t disagree, I’ve spent hours at work producing decidedly shit documentation (that it’s just occurred to me I should probably have done in PowerPoint) but equally I don’t think I’ve ever used a WYSIWYG word processor I’d consider good either (or web design program for that matter).
They rock at being the default. As much as I love LibreOffice MS office is probably the best office suite I’ve used too.

Ignored a cease and desist and then decided he’d defend himself in court. I sympathise to a point, but if a notoriously litigious games company asks you to stop, probably stop.
Which is fine. Potentially part of the huge known issue with the last couple of generations of Intel chips which affected a huge swath of CPUs, fixes have been released, but damage has been done - that alone would make me dubious about them going forward.
The more immediate issue though is, my CPU failed, I need to find some time to take the PC apart, safely box up the the CPU, figure out the intel rma procedure, ship it off, wait for intel to assess the cpu, hope they accept responsibility, ship me a new CPU and then find the time, once again, to take the PC apart to put the CPU back in. Twice. And I’ve been without PC for the entire time. And they most likely knew about the issues before the second gen of defective chips they launched. And it’s not even the better chip as you mention. I’d be sufficiently pissed off to stay away.
My first thought on hearing frame is server. I’m likely way off the mark (to the point I don’t actually think it’s what they’re doing) but it could be the basis for a cloud gaming setup for steam. Would extend the deck life and allow them to optimise settings for proton locally.
That seems like an oversimplification, outside looking in for me, but there’s no way a single dimension could ever adequately describe an item of clothing - my sister and wife have similar sized waists, but something tight round the posterior on my wife would be baggy on my sister.
Ha, my point was more that the bandsaw wasn’t tracking straight so all the blanks on the bottom are bigger, the seamstress runs a hem 10mm (more or less) from the edge so the dimension remains out and the QA guy couldn’t give a fuck because it’s 8:30 on a Friday night and he’s been working 21 days straight.
Even the same garment is going to have a different size in different countries, large in Italy, medium in UK etc etc. the real size is somewhere in between, but no one makes that level of granularity.
You should watch some of these garments being made, it’s mind blowing.
Cutting blanks and this is a tame/slow process Vs some other factories I’ve seen on the tube.
What makes you think it’s so mechanised? Material is often cut on bandsaw in stacks inches thick, they’re sewn on machine, sure, but manually controlled by a human. Different designers, different factories, different QA levels.
I read a thing (not sure if it’s true) that the reason there’s no pockets in women’s clothing is that women have more diverse body shapes than men. Pockets are designed not to interrupt the lines of the garment where possible - it’s more straightforward to place men’s pockets because they’re going to be in a more predictable place when worn Vs women where it ends up making the clothes fit poorly.

I believe it, chiefly because I read the slop answer and then have to check 5 more pages to figure out if it’s spouting nonsense or not.

The question comes down to whether a phone with a chip in it is subject to the tariff or just raw chips being imported. No one is putting a US chip in it, because US chips don’t exist. The foundries to make them don’t exist.
If the assembled phone is subject to a “phone” or “general” tariff at 30% and not the 100% chip tariff then it incentivises manufacturing in china vs the US is what I think the OP is saying.
