Fuck Charlie Kirk. Now is the time for him to be forgotten. Downvote any reference to him wherever you see it. He’s no martyr and he’s no hero, conservative or otherwise. He had lots of bad hot takes, was a terrible debater, and has a legacy of hatred and bigotry. Was his murder good or justified, Absofuckinglutely not. Should he be memorialized and revered? Even bigger no. It’s our job to make the algorithm make him go away. Don’t engage in posts about him and be sure to downvote or not engage at all. Charlie Kirk needs to not even be a footnote in a history book about conservative politics.

The wikipedia entry about him in 20 years should be “Charlie Kirk’s political takes were so bad that he was murdered by one of his own.”

Such as? Because from my experience and the history that has been taught to me, the only solution is violence. Unless you can cite examples otherwise. I’m not aware of a fascist state that was voted out of power.

I’m not dismissing the criticism of BL3, I honestly don’t know what it is beyond my personal experience. I wasn’t a big fan of the antagonists or the weapon changes, but It didn’t ruin the game for me. I really didn’t know that the game was so widely disliked - I never even looked into it. It came out, I played it, lost interest, and moved on with my life.

So, BL3 wasn’t great. the pre-sequel was out of house and doesn’t really count. It was made in an entirely other culture. It’s not like there have been a lot of games since BL2.

I honestly don’t understand the hate.

I’d like to say that while the game feels great, the engine does not. I had to drop from 7680x2160 to 3840x1080 to make it playable on an RTX-3090. For context, I can play Star Citizen at full resolution just fine (7800X3D, X870 mobo and plenty of RAM.) I think it’s a UE5 issue. I also CTD a few minutes ago.

Gameplay wise it feels like an updated BL game. motion is vastly improved with double-jumping, climbing and dashing mechanics. I can’t say much about the guns or skills, since I’m currently only lvl 5, but the auto-gathering of ammo and the addition of a medkit mechanic (hit T to use the med gun on yourself which is itself a loot item) is a welcome improvement.

That’s about as much as I can say so far. I hate that it was $70, but we all knew that was going to be the new normal for AAA games.

Definitely looks like a stroke. Just like the posters in hospitals where they tell you to immediately notify staff if you see a face like that.

Not to him. To him it’s about being on top, being a winner. The policy shit is all done by other people. With his blessing, sure, but only after they talk to him in small words about how it’s great and will make people love him even more.

I fucking live here. Crime is extremely low where he is. The whole thing was a show from the beginning. “Democrat cities have crime and chaos, so i cleaned them up” is a talking point that he’s spending hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on, just to make himself feel special.

Honestly from the reviews I’ve seen I don’t think I’d ever expect end game. More “you win… here’s the credits” and now I realize it’s been a long time since I’ve played a game that did that.

They’re not cracking down on anything. They’re stopping any crackdowns they may have started previously. They’re trying to make the US a tax haven for the elites.

Not understanding the law does not make you immune to it. This judge should be disbarred but will not see any action against her at all, because America is no longer a nation of laws. Unless you’re opposed to the fascism.

Also that quote is simply repulsive. Because the defendants were stupider than the prosecution made them out to be, they didn’t commit the crime? What the actual fuck. The prosecution needs to appeal. But… they probably won’t. The courts are so stacked at this point, why even bother.
