Tech nowdays is just a scam, there is no new tech to sell and they know it, I have a 16 years old laptop running on Linux and after a while the browser disabled my add ons without my consent because it said it was not sure they are safe, of course I worked around it and with a code added in the configuration settings the add ons were back again, so basically you can run a 16 year old laptop and browse the Internet just fine with no add ons popping up.

There is no new tech for a long time now! So their only way to sell laptops and pcs is to scam you into thinking that your machine is just outdated because they say so, they same happens with motherboard chips and Microsoft, they are scammers

That’s a very correct comment, which actually means more memory does not always solve everything

I remember not long ago showing my linux desktop on reddit and everybody was going crazy because I was still using Firefox and Chrome is the browser to use nowdays and all that crap, I guess times have changed for the better, and yes I still use firefox

Does it really matter? I have xemu (xbox emulator), retroarch for anything else, and PSX2 to be sure on Lubuntu, combine together how many games all those have and you just don’t need steam

Search for it, is a code you paste on the my filters tab of Ublock add on in Firefox

I use Firefox on Linux Mint, none of this happens and if it does you fix it by copy pasting a code on the settings of ublock

Many people speak about security risks because there will be no updates, but the solution is simple, you install Linux on a new partition and do all your networking from there, I use Windows for some programs and games and that’s it

The truth of the matter is that you can get rejected and banned on Reddit for absolutely no serious reason, so I don’t think reddit refugees are all toxic people

I for instance was permabanned from both my accounts because the mods on a subreddit I was banned reported me to reddit admins for ban evasion when I didn’t even know something like this existed, when at the same time I was talking with the mods to lift the ban! I had both my accounts for at least a year so surely I didn’t have any of them for evading any ban, reddit mods are arrogant and so full of themselves because there are millions of people there, but at the same time they forget that the people made it what it is
