Yeah, one of those things I learned after getting out too.

That’s the enlisted oath, the officer’s oath has no such obligation.

In this case, unfortunately, yes. It also cancels after the next census in 2030 and control is handed back to the committee. The expiration date is the only reason I voted yes.

Add it to the list.

The resemblance could be coincidence, maybe the artist who drew the flash knew what it was, but if you walk into a tattoo shop and want a skull and cross bones you could pick this off the wall.
I didn’t know about the totenkopf until this news broke. If I’d seen that before I’d have thought it was just another death’s head or pirate’s Jolly Roger.
*A socialist work place and hating cops might align with a pirate’s ideals.

She’s not giving blowjobs; she can find kids to do that.
Because unions stopped shooting back and bombing. Because when cops and Pinkertons shoot strikers the state turns a blind eye.
This is false. You cannot be fired without reason, you can be fired for any legal reason which will vary from state to state, which may be more strict (for employers) than federal law.
Yep. While negotiating our last CBA I brought this up as an option. The union told me we’re not even allowed to voluntarily wave our lunch break.

The new Prius is surprisingly good looking in person. Though, if I was going EV and had the money, I like those Lucids.

She started losing me a few years ago, when claiming to be a socialist & pro-union, she voted to make it illegal for railroad workers to strike. Pro-union until their collective action might make life a little inconvenient, then knock their teeth out for the capitalists.
I haven’t really kept track of her since then.

When I worked at night it was the only place open 24 hours. Now the one by me doesn’t even have that going for it.

Being powered by three turbines the E chugs cash, but you do have a max of 15,000 available horsepower.
The best way I’ve ever heard it described, “It’s the gun that forgot to become obsolete.”

The Marine Corps and Navy have already retired their H-53Ds and the big Es are on their way out. A lot more shoulder room in one of those compared to the H-34s.

Should ever become rich, like fuck you money rich, I’m buying a PBY Catalina and turning it into an RV of sorts - not an original idea. There was a company out of Australia that was modernizing them. Not as roomy as a big bomber, but has a ruggedness and the go anywhere capabilites unique to flying boats. And I fucking love the look of the wings over the fuselage.
The M2 is almost as old. Both are still in service around the world. Both are John Browning designs.

I couldn’t do that with my Hisense. There was no way to move past linking an email.

Eh, I would say investment into R&D should be encouraged and maybe allow tax write offs. Even of the end goal is a private power source. Once that R&D turns into workable, operable, sellable products, then tax the fuck out of them. Perhaps disallow making things that can be a boon to public infrastructure from being deem proprietary, so that it can be more easily adapted to public use.
I dunno, I’m typing from my couch after a few beers.
I have two huskies. I’m just tired. You never gain any ground.
