I apparently live in a red state but my workplace (in state) is green

My interpretation is something that isn’t the fediverse version of something else. Like Lemmy doesn’t count because it’s the fediverse version of Reddit.

I don’t know how much of that I’ve seen. But those are still not Lemmy people? And I don’t mean people being known, but influencers like you see especially on the video based socials

Is it a strength or a deficit that Lemmy (the reddit model?) doesn’t really seem to lend itself to influencers?

You’d think there could be more bloggers.

Yeah, making election day a national holiday doesn’t help those of us who don’t get most holidays off.
