Pretty much, yes, complete with Judges - except they get to make up the laws, and summarily execute anyone they like because it’s a lot harder to interrogate a corpse.

No no Guardian, don’t play their game. Ethnic cleansing was literally not a term until the 90s. The Clinton admin made it up out of nothing to justify why the US didn’t have to intervene in Rwanda, and everyone else went with it because it was convenient for them, because everyone else was trying to figure out how they didn’t have to intervene as well. “Ethnic cleansing” is just genocide in a wrapper.
Yeah, this sounds like an end run to “justify” blue states not being counted.
They’ve been trying to spin literally any protests or even just token resistance as criminal, and rural voters, by and large, absolutely believe that cities are hives of crime and iniquity.
Yup, “move fast and break things”, legal system style. Turns out if you throw someone on a plane and into a foreign prison before the court date even arrives, it’s actually really hard to get them back out, because now “it’s a state department issue”.
No, it’s arguably human trafficking because we’re paying the other country to keep him there.
Every time you deplatform a group, it generally shrinks by about 10%. Keep doing it enough and eventually you have a group that’s JUST the diehards, and that group is generally so small that they’ll burn themselves out.
Same here from when I was working in the field. If I’m driving, I can count it as working so I go home after 8 hours instead of 9 or 8.5 or whatever.
The multibillion dollar company I work for hosts literally everything on Teams and OneDrive. We absolutely have the capacity for storage on-site, we absolutely have the capacity to spin up our own cloud. They just do it this way because “well it’s already there”.
Never mind that this won’t even make a ripple. Estimated yearly from all this is $1.35B, which is 3% of 1% of 1% of the national debt.
Chemotherapy drip?
Actually, Vance is next in line, and considering Vance is as much of a spineless worm as Mike Johnson…
Nah, we funded both Iran and the Taliban. We even elected a guy who illegally funneled weapon sales to Iran in order to take that money and give it to Nicaraguan death squads. Arguably, without US support, neither gets the critical mass it needs to effect regime change or become anything more than an upstart.
No, but we’re doing a fantastic job exporting a lot of the doctrine and repackaging it.
No no, this is not a distraction. This is something he is SUPER pissed that he hasn’t been able to end. He just didn’t think he had the clout for it until now. Not everything is a distraction, and mail-in voting specifically has been a bugaboo for the GOP almost as long as it’s been around. Physical polling locations are easier to suppress, and even easier to post armed guards near to “secure” (intimidate) people into voting the correct way.
Don’t forget all the illegal/semilegal weed farmers who are more than happy to put you in the dirt no matter who you are.
A lot of Mormons in the Great Plains take up long range and extreme long range shooting (think sniper shit), mostly because you have enough flat land there to set up proper 1000yd ranges (and enough deserted areas where you can just go plink a target for a couple hours without another living soul around).
Don’t forget Oregon, which was literally founded to be a white ethnostate.
Pretty much this. The number of countries that could wage a full invasion across an ocean, keeping supply lines open, against a near-peer, is pretty tiny - MAYBE the EU if they all pooled resources (and invited the UK along). MAYBE China if they island-hopped (which is its own set of logistical nightmares). That’s really about it.
FORMER print guy. Office Depot fired him before this.
