Well, one more blocked knucklehead

I don’t know what the server rules are, but there’s a good chance (if it’s like others I see) it requires the poster to post the headline exactly as it’s written. And that’s the headline the link uses.
Sensationalism, yes. But reporting him might not really be worth the mod’s time if that’s a rule for this instance.
Second time playing through, played before Lex Arbites and picked it up again after.
Genuinely, only had 1 crash on this run, maybe 3 on the last. All happened on Qetza Temer. But the uneven balance I can agree with. I’m playing through on the difficulty above medium (whatever it’s called) and now that I’m in the 4th act, sometimes they knock a party member in the first turn, sometimes my arch-militant will kick one guy down and stun him, shoot 7 more and kill 4, Heroic Action, more shooting, boss already compromised and surrounded by my melee and Cassia is making EVERYBODY whack him down.
Love it. It frustrates me. If it wasn’t Warhammer, it would only be a 6.5-7/10, but it’s so jam packed with lore tie ins that if you like the universe it’s at least a solid 8-9 for the love they put into it and continual update/community feedback. But that’s just like, my opinion, man
If you’re talking about my girl Keira Metz, she’s a witch, not a standard alchemist. Woman definitely engages in performance enhancing magic
I think you could get more creative with your language, with that knowledge. If nothing else, reading the Bible (or catching the cliffs notes) and getting a firm understanding of ‘The Classics’ gives you an immense wealth of phrases and references to help illustrate your point that are so ingrained in Western culture and media that you’re likely to strike more points with it than without.
I’m still making my way through that herculean effort, that sisyphusian task. I struggled like Odysseus returning home to get through the Bible the first time, but once you get through all the parables and their Lot, there are some really interesting stories that make for easy metaphors and similes.
I’ve had good luck with Sunshine/Moonlight, though I haven’t tried it in the last 6 months or so. Was using it to stream my much beefier desktop to my Rog Ally while in bed when I hurt my back.
There was a slight latency, like, enough to notice that I notice, but hardly enough to catch when fully engaged. But the PC was getting like 200 frames in the games I was playing and that was limited to the 120fps limit I set for Moonlight (i think it let’s you bypass this to go higher, but I didn’t want to at the time).
Loops…kind of sucks. I get the point of it, but I tried using it like 15 minutes a day for a couple weeks to get used to it, but the features are lacking and the content is…well it’s filled with people who would abandon tiktok and other apps, so, it’s kind of boring.
Not in a ‘there’s no brainrot’ way, in a ‘this is the third video in a row of just random AI slop and then it’s just some dude filming a tree for 20 seconds’.
Someone still took the time to downvote your opinion that it ‘was fine’. The vitriol towards any positive or neutral comment is why I think it’s a specific group of people actually complaining, a fair share with “it could have been better, and it’s not my style of rpg anymore”, and the remainder just being relatively neutral to happy that they got more dragon age.
But, to drive home in case it isn’t clear, I love Dragon Age and I think this one ranks higher than Inquisition (but not trespasser DLC), on par with 2, and above 1 for me. I do not think it’s a Pinnacle of modern writing, it definitely suffered from some development struggles and that comes through in the final act as things get a little rushed and content feels more like a drip than a faucet. But then it wraps up well, or I thought it did.
It can use improvements, but I feel about it as i felt about 2 when it came out. “This is a change, and I’m not sure it’s what i wanted, but I do like the universe and the combat is a lot of fun and the characters as a whole are interesting”.
I only see that in some communities. Most of the people that hate on veilguard, from what I’ve seen, either haven’t played the game or are clipping parts out of context.
The complaints I’ve seen that aren’t “dur hur, binary qunari” talk about the shaky dialogue in the beginning, where things felt awkward and clunky, like a new team forming. I’ll give credence to the complaints about some depth being lost in the characters versus other games in the series, but I think those people feel that way because Inquisituon was a bloated mess (that I love) and they’ve played 1 and 2 so many times in different ways they’re meshing all the dialogue into one. Playing through veilguard a second time, and watching my partner take different choices than me, made the characters on par with Mass Effect 2 allies. Which, I’d say isn’t an accomplishment so much as a mild chastisement that it hasn’t improved since then.
Only Denuvo has reported that it’s better for sales, the rest of us don’t have data on that and I’m not trusting the wolf with Hen House design
Endorsing a candidate or a party places an additional seal of approval on the actions and beliefs of that candidate/party. There’s a difference between saying “between ham or fish, I pick fish” and “I believe fish is the right choice for everyone, fish has qualities that I myself would like to emulate and believe in”.
She’s a pop singer who seemingly upset a lot of internet people (but not many real people) for saying “yeah, I’m voting for Kamala, but I won’t endorse her because the democratic party hasn’t done enough for the LGBTQ or minority groups and I’m not keen on the Israel support thing”
I just started diving into the space from a localized point yesterday. And I can say that there are definitely problems with garbage spewing, but some of these models are getting really really good at really specific things.
A biomedical model I saw seemed lauded for it’s consistency in pulling relevant data from medical notes for the sake of patient care instructions, important risk factors, fall risk level etc.
So although I agree they’re still giving well phrased garbage for big general cases (and GPT4 seems to be much more ‘savvy’), the specific use cases are getting much better and I’m stoked to see how that continues.
Nah chief, it’s pretty groundbreaking. I mean we don’t know how to specifically target existing connections to strengthen the sheathe between existing brain cells, but connecting two brain cells at all, manually, is such a feat
I have pets that need fed, rent that needs paid, and survival to keep in mind.
Can you link me to resources to help me provide for those things while I’m 24/7 rioting?
