Yes, lucidity is more of a spectrum than a binary

Data compression pretty much already works like this. The most likely reason is that data compression given current encoding paradigms is already about as good as it can be. The kinds of parameter notations you speak of would probably not result in a greater compression than existing algorithms

Jfc, I’m not the original person who started this thread.
But if you’re a child who needs it broken down:
You might as well ask why we need login accounts at all. If you want to see what happens with such systems, you need only look at 4chan.
Now, fuck off I’m done with this thread

Eh, it’s pretty straight forward

The AT protocol is open, though

Not really. In that metaphor it’s more like, “I chose the McDonald’s down at the corner to get my Big Mac instead of the one across town.”

Why are you interpreting this as a power grab?

Go easy on the thesaurus, kid.
Always the hallmark of a real contender. Oh, did I say “hallmark”? Hope that doesn’t cause you to stumble. “Stumble” means to trip while walking; in this case it’s a metaphor for thinking.
Hope that was clear enough for you.
Nice strawman argument
Huh. Considering the primary point of the video was how open signups are bad, I don’t know why you contradicted your comment on the other thread and said this video has no valid point.
So nice self-contradiction I guess?

Lol, if you think that absolutely open sign ups on instances isn’t a problem, then thanks for advertising the bankruptcy of your opinions
Oh dang, I didn’t realize you had editorialized the headline yourself and thought the Times actually had the balls to call them terrorist bombings
