Then they could have had congressional hearings about the 14th Amendment/Section 3, and officially identified those involved with the Insurrection, including spreading The Big Lie that made it possible, and at least 50% of Congressional Republucans would have been rendered ineligible to hold office, and many of them would have gone to jail.

Instead, Biden appointed the weakest Republican in existence to go after them, and he dicked around for months, giving HitlerPig a two year head start in running out the clock. They continued to treat HitlerPig’s open criminality like it was a legitimate political difference, when it wasn’t. It was full-blown treason, and he was allowed to get away with it, simply because he was rich, and because Democrats are even more cowardly than Republicans.

IF there is another election (which i highly doubt), the Democratic candidate needs to put punishment of HitlerPig and his criminal gang as their top priority. Trump has signed an executive order to build a 30,000 bed detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, and a $249 million contract has already been awarded. It is due to be complete in 2030, but it will open in stages.

For context, the average maximum security prison in America is about 800-1200 people. The largest, in Angola, LA, is about 8300. That means this new detention facility will be almost 4 times larger than our current largest prison, which is already several times larger than average.

Its also going to be on a foreign island, surrounded by a (supposedly) hostile foreign nation, far from the prying eyes of the media or the courts.

We’ve seen Cecot, with its giant cells packed with 80 prisoners. We’ve also seen their method of frog-marching their prisoners.

Compare that with Russia’s infamous Black Dolphin Prison where prisoners live this way for the rest of their lives:

they are forced to stand and forbidden from resting or sitting on their bunks from the time they awake until bedtime (roughly 16 hours).

They are also moved about in a similar way as Cecot:

Back in the late 80s, a friend of mine went on Wheel Of Fortune, and won pretty big. Back then, you won “money,” which you then spent at the end of the show in the big showcase of products.

My friend went with a strategy, and bought stuff like wall-to-wall carpeting and a fridge, but also a couple things like a gaudy gold watch.

When he got home, he was getting his haircut, and his barber said “I saw you on Wheel. That was a nice watch you got.” My friend sold it to him. That was his strategy - buy stuff for the house, but also buy some stuff that would be easy to sell, so he could pay the taxes out of his winnings.

I tried explaining that to a couple of people a few days ago. It’s not just rhetoric, there’s an actual reason they like to declare a “War” on various things like drugs, terror, etc. By declaring a “War,” it allows the government to access certain policies/ strategies that are only available during wartime. When they declared a War of Drugs, it allowed law enforcement to get extra federal money, as well as justification for militarizing the local cops.

In this case, it allows HitlerPig to use some old wartime powers act, even though its not a war, and the people hebis targeting arent actually combatants. Its just an thin excuse to deny them rights, as if they were enemy combatants on a battlefield.
