Lmao you’re reaching quite a bit on my own opinions here.
Once again, in no way am I defending Biden. There are just way more people I’d put above him for this mess.

I’m not defending his handling of the last election but really, HE’S second?
I mean this is exactly it. This is not the way I want the country to go.
But I’m also not surprised it went this way in Kirk’s case.
I don’t condone his shooting but I was listening to the audio of what happened. Literally right before the shooting he engaged in a bad faith argument: when asked if he knew the number of trans mass shooters over the last decade, his response was “too many”. At face value, that’s obviously defense-able; any mass shooting is too many. But he doesn’t use it like that. That statement is used as a sword to defend his opinions on trans people and how dangerous they are.
And that’s precisely why he and MAGA in general was/are dangerous; they seize on those little truths and wield them like hammers to bash wide groups of individuals. Kirk was not a debater like he always claimed; he was a master at building a straw man and convincing others of its stability.
He didn’t deserve to be shot but he sure as shit didn’t deserve the attention he got.
While I agree with you as a LA resident, that’s not the fire she’s talking about. This is in regards to the anti-ICE protests.
Which is still bullshit btw. I can’t find the image but the protests were literally in just a few blocks for the majority of the time, spreading to a few other separate and isolated protests. It was insanely overblown and the national guard did essentially nothing but parade through a few areas for photo ops. Fucking waste of time and money but of course you know the cuts don’t impact that.
I’m honestly shocked he had a spine to break /s
No one deserves to get hurt in an accident. That’s about all I can say.
Both things can be true but absolutely. Look at everything that’s happened since and how folks have still been team MAGA.
The election was just the first veil dropping. Actually more like the 3rd or so but still.
Unless they’ve been rescinded, there are state warrants still open. No civil or criminal charges but there would be nothing stopping Abbott from just immediately declaring a session and arresting them when they cross state lines.
Would they not still be immediately arrested upon entering the state, leading to the same exact problem we’re facing right now?
How about Trump? Or Netanyahu for that matter since it was abundantly clear he was not going to work with the Biden administration once Trump was welcomed back? Or any of the republican politicians who, for years, have said things behind Trumps back only to cower in support of him and continue to support him and Israel (since you want to keep focusing on that issue alone it seems) despite what is clearly happening there?
Again, the mainstream Democratic party/Biden/whoever certainly bears a level of responsibility for where we are. But most responsible? Nah. It’s clear they aren’t in sync with what the grassroots of their party and frankly the US wants but this is the kinda Whataboutism that is helping to normalize what the GOP is doing to the country.
