And for a full-on fork (as opposed to mod) of Firefox, there’s also Pale Moon, which forked away from Firefox years ago. (I have it as a backup.)

I used Floorp (Firefox mod) and Firedragon (formerly based on Librewolf, now on Floorp), don’t know if they are cutting out the AI cruft. They have other privacy features, mainly their choice of default settings.

I’m currently using Zen (Firefox mod), which made a statement:

In the past, when it was almost completely about drugs, their activities were concentrated in two types of area:

• transit corridors (coasts, ports and US border)
• growing areas (e.g. poppy fields in the mountains of west, like Michoacán, Guerrero)

That left a strip up the centre less affected (e.g. Puebla, Edomex, Queretaro).

Now that they’ve leveraged decades of drug money to expand into other enterprises (e.g. extortion), they’ve expanded into other geographical areas too. But the remains of that central strip can still be seen on the map with white & whitish areas.

That was 1940, I suspect a map from 1945 would be substantially different

Everything seems fine in Zen, Falkon, FreeTube, SMPlayer, VLC etc.

But the one time I tried watching video in Firefox recently, it was jerky.

Video playback smooth in Zen but jerky in Firefox. Haven’t tried in Librewolf or Firedragon.
