The problem with subscription services is that it’s fairly easy to argue it’s interstate commerce that states don’t have jurisdiction over.

It’s going to be close, they barely passed it the first time. The speaker really didn’t want the senate to make changes and they did. It passed the senate in a tie, so the house really can’t change anything, which could be a problem for marginal supporters and hardliners.
The GOP just like the Democrats aren’t a monolith. The Dems may be more fractured, but there’s still 2-3 major groups in the Republican party and not all are 100% behind Trump.
Dread delusion claims to be like Morrowind, but it’s just on my wishlist soni can’t say how accurate it is.
This isn’t the first time Iran’s nuclear program has been targeted. It’s been regularly attacked over the years. Getting weapons grade enrichment is really hard, it’s years of lead time to get centrifuges up and running before you can even attempt enrichment. It’s not unbelievable that they haven’t gotten pure enough uranium for a nuke yet, it matches up with what we know about their program from what has been inspected.
It had congressional authorization, that’s what the war powers act does.
The Iran strike is a terrible reason to try and impeach Trump. That’s why so many Democrats tabled it. While impeachment is a political process, you need something to attach to it that’s plausibly illegal, this was a legal action.
If they focused on sending marines to LA or the rampant detaining of citizens by ICE who technically has no authority to do so, they might actually get somewhere.
I think someone elsewhere posted that that authorization was cancelled. The real reason is the war powers act, all a president has to do is tell Congress within 48 hours, the tweet is probably good enough as it was ruled an official communication source in his last term.
Impeachment over bombing Iran was a stupid move, it was technically legal. If you want any chance of success you need to pick something more than “Trump is a big fat doodoo head.”
It lets the pencil stay the same length and not need a sharpener.
The war powers act makes it lawful for a president to take military action against any country, provided Congress is notified within 48 hours of that action. Then a president gets 60 days + 30 “withdrawal” to wage any war they want without congressional approval. Furthermore it’s been ruled violations are basically irrelevant if troops are gone before the matter gets to the supreme court.
Clinton and Obama both violated this law with 0 consequences. Trump might also violate the law, but we won’t know for 90 days.
If Congress wants the power to declare war back they need to repeal the war powers act.
It’s the same in female fields, it’s not just prestige. Men face increased scrutiny when working with children. Male nurses are expected to perform the more physical parts of the job almost exclusively.
Israel is a US interest because they are an easier target than the US in a region that tends to prefer terrorist actions.
It’s bordering on conspiracy, but there’s an argument to be made that record labels pushed gangster rap and downplayed others to keep black communities down.
It’s about 80% that can read. Only about 10% can understand the concept of a metaphor though.
If you only have them distilled water and not the formula you mix into it, then it’s dangerous, but the minerals aren’t the problem there.
Pretty involved scam then as I’ve actually met Someone that served with him.
No. For an emergency response like this the first 72 hours are critical, that’s the entire window where you have a chance of live rescue.
