Ya, RPM Fusion is handled by a 3rd party I’m pretty sure. But I was thinking more along the lines of what software is available though.

I’d have to think RPM Fusion is comparable to the AUR, no? I’ve never used Arch btw, but I do know Fedora pretty well.

I have an old Fedora book which still has a Fedora 15 disk in it! Helped me realize on old PC’s to burn the ISO onto a DVD for installation instead of finding a work around for not having a USB boot option in the BIOS.

So Ubuntu has a version called Lubuntu, which used to come with LXDE, but now it comes with LXQt. So this will require you to install LXDE with the tasksel command, unless you start with Ubuntu desktopless. But I’d say to definitely check out Kubuntu, it’s the KDE version, and I feel like KDE and LXDE are quite similar. Both have an older windows overall appearance.

Perplexity.ai has always provided sources and even has filters you can select by clicking the focus button. I dig it for academics as there’s an academic filter plus all sources provided I trust such as PubMed, NIH, SemanticScholar, and NCBI. I also really dig there no account needed, unless you want to implement GPT-4. At times I’ve had to ask for additional details on the answer provided without GPT, but up to this point its still by far my favorite AI to utilize.

It’s more closely related to the initial intentions of the internet than most other social platforms. Ideally it could get things going back in the right direction again iif nothing else!

The fact sources aren’t provided with ChatGPT is detrimental. We’re in the early stages where errors are not uncommon, sourcing the info used to generate the paraphrases with ChatGPT would help instill confidence in its responses. This is a primary reason I prefer using perplexity.ai over ChatGPT, plus there’s no need to create an account with perplexity as well!

My photo library is an assortment and I’ve only ever run into issues sending png’s. It truly doesn’t matter if you’re able to edit the file type. Personally, I’m not big with WebM files as they don’t run well with my preferred muisic player on mobile though.

Somewhat curious to see what happens over the next year. Anyone got a betting pool going? lol No matter what takes place, hopefully Mastodon gets a big uptick in users!
