The year of PielemmbinBB
FSP = Fediverse Service Provider
Hello from Germany.
Wait… AntennaPod can play video podcasts hosted on PeerTube!? I’ve just subscribed to the podcast from AntennaPod and it just works. This is awesome.

Interesting. https://forum.wedistribute.org/ is quite new, maybe they aren’t federated well yet.
It’s available on Wikimedia Commons
Maybe lemmy.world needs a bit more time to federate them. I can see 9 comments from my Lemmy instance already.
@[email protected] maybe this would be interesting for feddit.org as well.
I know I’m tech-savvy, but I actually enjoy the fact that Lemmy (and the Fediverse) doesn’t hand everything to me easily on a plate. The hunt for new interesting communities, my long well curated block list, setting up Lemmy apps exactly to my preferences is part of the fun.
If someone handed me a fully configured Voyager app on day one, I wouldn’t have had all the exciting experiences trying a bunch of apps to find the best one for me, learning how to block instances and communities, learning how to correctly link to communities and users, finding new ways to discover communities.
All this stuff is part of why I come back here everyday. A ready out-of-the-box solution is kinda boring.
Lemmy has a list of open feature requests with approved payments from NLnet.
Whatever [email protected] and [email protected] will be cooking.
Same here. I hope they’ll add custom instances and login soon. I’ll keep it installed though.
It takes a while. I waited a couple days for my confirmation mail to arrive. Keep in mind that Loops is being built by a single dev. If you read the toots by @dansup you’ll see that it’s a work in progress.
That’s why I try to post more. It might be a problem that it’s hosted on lemmy.ml though, as some instances block them.
I don’t think it’s censorship necessarily. Their approach to combine similar communities into one club could be the cause and maybe they just haven’t set up the c/fediverse club yet.
They don’t seem to federate with lemmy.ml since no comments from @[email protected] are visible on ClubsAll.
That’s the spirit.
