That’s something I’d love to be real but it’s not. Google is still dominating, as reddit and x, let alone meta or tiktok. There are small niches like us, but VERY small
My communities describe me better than my cv! (spez-ial shout out to the loser!)

the title is the description of reddit/lemmy/etc
So two thousands and ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen twenty twentyone twentytwo twentythree twentyfour twentyfive twentynine is the year of Linux on desktop!
Yeeeaaaah
I somehow have a feeling that being president of the USA does not mean you can do whatever you want and people have to follow… Google Map, for one, is a product of a private company, not a Federal Service of the USA - so if they want to call it “Gulf of Google”, they could!
Then you’re right, they already protect/black out places and some places’ names, however the Gulf of America, like the Channel of Washington are just bs that in the worst case scenario will live 4 years. So it’s a joke and I like joking too
Also, report an error to google maps:
It reads: I read “Gulf of America”. That must be a mistake.
I’m gonna start creating new pubs, bars and so on, everywhere I go, and call them Trump’s Mexican Deli, Donnie & Elon’s vacancy hotel, and so on. Please contribute (use an alternative google account)
Oh, gee, a good news for today!
I’d love to see TiXToX
First time in years I see something not bad happen in the US
If he was an US citizen, I would almost panic - sorry guys, love your country but…
They can’t just pay a fine, they gotta act properly, or being shut down
I think .io will continue to exist as a generic tld
Almost every country has a way to get citizenship in exchange of money
I don’t even think we’re heading in the direction of the article, we’re just a small deviation from the main road, I just hope we’re not riding a dead end road. But the biggest I can imagine for “us” is a situation like Linux in the early 2000s - and we’re still far, I’d compare “us” more to openBSD
