You have no idea what happened next, that lost soul may have just been taken in by their new found family - and you’re advocating for that person to just die instead because they feel like it in that moment. Despite the overwhelming amount of suicide survivors reporting regret for their actions.
Yes, there are circumstances where suicide is the correct option. Terminal illness or chronic pain come to mind. Outside of that, however, to advocate for anything but life first is sick. Your stance should be to help people withstand and recover from their trauma, not usher them into oblivion.
