Women candidates have struggled in the past, but it’s looking like Harris at least lost because of voter machine rigging.
Plenty of people voted for Hillary Clinton, despite her being Hillary Clinton. I don’t think her being a woman was the issue there.

I think we need to wait and see how things shake out. If she can demonstrate broad based support then why not run her.
If it’s only lefties who love her, then she’s not the right choice.

Yeah. There’s a correlation vs causation problem here that I don’t really have the answers to.

Hillary was Hillary and didn’t take Trump seriously.
Kamala was run without much planning and forethought.
AOC might be a woman, and I take your point that may not be in her favor, but she has many virtues that may outweigh that disadvantage.
