They call those privacy concerns “non-negotiable,” and suggest Android users but a cheap old iPhone model to use the app.

The fact it’s not available on f-droid makes me think it’s a honeypot.
Apple only, no website, is suspect af for an app that requires maximum privacy.
EDIT: maybe just incompetent devs, which is just as bad as the end result will be equivalent to a honeypot.

The apk could be released outside of Google and its policies. They could even open source it.
Even with an iPhone it is inaccessible without a US account.
