Tax the shit out of them then.
If they want to have normal speech protections in society then they get to have normal taxation as well. That’s the deal.
Which politicians will the satanic temple endorse?

Satanic Temple is not evil
This will end the moment the Pope endorses a Democrat or Independent.
Approximately 53 million adults in the U.S. identify as Catholic, according to Pew Research Center. This represents about 20% of the adult population.
Right wing is doing it anyway, may as well allow it for both sides?
The right side is massively more organised and corporate. It’s not an even battle by any stretch of the imagination.
If there are more than a handful of left siding churches I’d be amazed.
There are a few. One down the block from me collaborates with the LGBT youth shelter and has progress flags.
Methodists tend to be nice - the couple of times I got to go to a support group for LGBT teens was at a Methodist church, and this was almost twenty years ago. Unitarian Universalists are basically atheists, pagans and hippies that like the structure of meeting together on Sundays. Quakers have always been very politically active, mostly on the correct side of things.
The Southern Baptist Convention has basically been running our politics for decades. Literally founded to support slavery, created the “pro life”/forced birth movement from whole cloth, and fought integration and civil rights tooth and nail.
There may not be the same quantity, but reach matters, too. The Catholic Church has had two blatantly left-leaning Popes in a row now. While it’s been in a slow decline for a good while, surely they’re still large enough to matter?
Left leaning popes for an organization that is still very much not of the left… I will admit my bias, I find no reason for any of these churches to be exempt from anything but contempt. But I’ve also seen nothing but lip service for anything close to the “left” I wouldn’t even argue center.
That would be great news, if churches supported the compassionate, empathetic, moral and equitable candidate that mirrors the principles of their faith, but they don’t, it’s just whoever shouts loudest about being a person of faith.
