      In that situation you’re still admitting the threats have power over you; by releasing the photos yourself, you both out the person as fucking scum and demonstrate that their threat was completely impotent, delivering a one-two punch to the ego.

        That analogy only works if your nudes being out there hurts or at least bothers you. Maybe she doesn’t care or planned to do it herself someday?

        You take away all the power if you follow through with releasing them yourself.

          Doing it differently could prevent him from doing this bullshit to someone else. Some people need to face consequences so their last few brain cells understand they’re ass holes.

      Still doesn’t stop them being used against you. If they’re published by “choice” I think that’s easier on the soul, if still painful.
