It’s not conservative voters themselves that are mentally ill. I fully believe a lot of them are too ignorant to realize that these are not jokes.
Being an authoritarian is a mental illness. It’s marked by grandiosity and delusions. The authoritarian somehow believes they are better than other humans for no real arguable reason, and their delusion is that they have the right to do whatever they please.
It’s a deadly serious psychological illness that has somehow become widespread and unchecked.
