Rifampin does decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills in preventing ovulation, but this antibiotic isn’t widely used today.

And increase the potency of opiates… They block the enzymes needed to break down opiates.
They also make anxiety and depression meds unpredictable
Antibiotics have a similar effect. Some? All? Who knows.
