The questionable views we’re talking about here are… Let’s just say we’re not talking about milquetoast stuff like “we should be a bit stricter with immigration” or “lower taxes on the rich”, but views that are far, far outside of the mainstream in most places in the world.

    Edit: I’ve looked into it and turns out its just framework financially supporting open source projects that happen to have maintainers that have right wing ideology. Frameworks claims they support a large array of open source developers across the ecosystem as they want open source to win and they do this regardless of political alignment of the developers themselves.

      Meh. I don’t really agree with dessalines’ politics on the left, but I wouldn’t be upset if a company donated to Lemmy development just because of that. I don’t really agree with the bs1770gain’s guy’s politics on the right, but I wouldn’t be upset if a company donated to bs1770gain development just because of that. Neither software package is intrinsically tied to their politics.
