I often disagree with Jacobin. But I’d say they’re on the right here. Planter is a meathead. But a well intentioned meathead willing to face and own up to his flaws. That’s a big thing. A thing that leaves far too many to never try for fear of failing. If I were able to vote in his election. I would rather vote for someone who would try, even if the might fail. Than a soon to be octogenarian who wouldn’t rock the boat.
