    The difference is that both of the disasters you were referring to happened in Texas. Those were self-inflicted wounds by the voters of those states, as sad as it is to say.

    The East Coast and Southern states have minimal likelihood of experiencing a tsunami compared to the entire West coast…

    This is purposefully directed at harming Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, and Alaska which all have the highest risk due to being part of the Pacific “Ring of Fire” with increased incidences of volcanic activity and earthquakes. (Hawaii isn’t actually part of the Ring of Fire, but is still at greater risk for tsunamis due to the local volcanoes and earthquakes)

      I mean it is still kind of the same thing… In texas there were tons of people who didn’t vote for it… but were effectively caught in their neighbors self inflicted bullshit.

      Same concept with blue states… those states may not have had a majority that voted for trump… but the nation as a whole did. (caveats of course for all forms of voting shenanigans, disqualified votes and any possible fuckery with the election itself).
