    more importantly the hypocrisy of it. Even in my Christian days I had a hard time understanding why crosses were always good and silver. You’d think wood crosses be the only acceptable symbol

      I feel a cheap metal also works, but it should be unassuming. I also feel like they should be wearing it under their shirts not openly. “Do not pray as the hypocrites” and whatnot.

        Well perhaps not "hiding " it, but yea, less outward displays of dogmatic purity would make more sense overall. Christianity’s primary selling point is that the least of us are the most deserving of compassion.
