As much as I enjoyed Wrath of the Righteous, I give zero fucks when being foced to play a damn human. Sure, my companions could be something else, but I must still be a human, and I’m just not about that. “Lookit all this fantastical fantasy stuff! But here, play with the basic human.” Fuck off. No. No thanks. Wish GW would push their other shit more.
You know what we need in a world of increasing authoritarianism? Franchises that initially satirized fascism before being a reason for their fanbase to fetishize it
Does anyone know if this will have any story hooks whatsoever to Rogue Trader? Because if so, I’m compelled to play that one first, but then this becomes a scheduling problem for me.
I doubt they will connect as I’m fairly certain they take part in different sections of the galaxy
Thanks. I know nothing of Warhammer other than the stuff that took inspiration from it.
I think you’ll enjoy either game really if you end up liking the setting. They are great ways to get introduced as most other options (besides books)focus just on gameplay with setting and story being an afterthought.
I have RT and it’s already a scheduling problem – It’s a beast of a game (many hours) from what I hear.
I think I just hit 80 hours and finally made it to chapter 3. It’s definitely more than I bargained for, especially being an older gamer with less time on hand. I’m still determined to finish the damn thing. Still worth it as the story and gameplay are both compelling.
