There’s a prevalent culture on reddit of being more concerned with the form an argument takes, doing things like trying to lay rhetorical traps or transparently feigning ignorance to bait out further responses, than with engaging in a constructive discussion.
That’s what you’re doing here, too - you’re attempting to dictate that my response is a forgone conclusion and thus shape the form of the argument. If you really were interested in this discussion on it’s own merits, you could simply have asked without trying to manipulate the response.

As a reminder - this branch stemmed (puns) from my pushing somone making a loaded off hand remark to commit to what they were saying by explaining it. You opted to instead reply for them with “everyone knows” and the apparent redditor “barb.”

Forgive me - but is my stated opinion incorrect? Is the presence of the fourth panels’ assertion about a generalized group doing a generalized thingalmost always not an issue with said group being called out?
I certainly can make quite a few examples and happily will provide parallels. I imagine you can as well with minimal effort. With that in mind - let’s look at the root (hah) of this thread and see if, in addition to the comic ['s fourth panel comment], we see a parallel in what was being implied by the person you jumped in to speak up for.

Even my one concession to discussing your ideas, asking you to tally the numbers of comments presenting in the way you describe, was entirely said in support of the discussion of your behavior.
You’ve also continued not to engage in good faith, for example you’re now trying to present my staying focused on one topic of discussion as being somehow “cyclical” as a way to present yourself as above this discussion. In any case - I’d recommend either following through with your prior exit from this conversation or returning to the discussion about the subject matter. If I was interested in hearing baseless assertions about “me” I’d go read a horoscope.

I have never expressed an opinion of you beyond your behavior being that of a redditor (and criticisms of it stemming therefrom). Neither were my initial criticisms “baseless” - you confirmed they were completely accurate yourself. The focus has not increased, nor has there been an opportunity for you to guide me back on topic, because I have never departed from this topic - despite you repeatedly presenting new topics, which I have not engaged with as they are not relevant.
If you take a recounting of your behavior as somehow an expression of an opinion, I would suggest you modify your behavior so that when presented with it you do not feel the need to be defensive.
