I had no idea. oO

This was a NSFW, darkly-hilarious webcomic that started ages ago (1999) and ended a few years later… or so I’d thought for years. But no, it seems artist “Clay” has recently relaunched the sucker!

https://www.sexylosers.com/

It’s pretty much in the “OGLAF” class of webcomics, but maybe a little more wicked and subtle.

Wait, this is the one with the necrophiliac who stalks a girl who wants to kill herself (but obviously not anywhere near him), isn’t it?

It’s quite a big darker than Oglaf, but it was great!

I didn’t know it was back, thanks for calling attention to it!

That’s what I remember, too. It’s indeed dark as the abyss in that way.

      Also, it’s been like 20yrs.
As someone who could technically be a grandfather now, I worry about this stuff. Like-- it’s hilarious on the one hand, but also nothing I’d want to see younger gen doing.

I’m probably a total idiot for sharing it, but I guess we’ll see.

I’m sorry, what? It’s a webcomic. It’s harmless humour. It doesn’t hurt anyone. Let people have fun.

Lol… you could not have beautifully emphasized what I already said, even if you’d fallen backwards in to a huge pile of Angel droppings.

          Well, done, matey! :D

This is good satire. I’m sure the cartoonist knows that not being good at sex and wanting to learn is not a problem, and that calling a talkshow while having sex is. By acting like the one thing is the problem and the other isn’t, you need to think to understand this.

    And it generates easy outrage.

And by looking into this comment section, you can see that it “worked”.

He plays around with a lot of sexual themes and topics. Maybe it’s not always ‘ultimately accurate,’ but I find it fun and interesting for the most part, or… sometimes a bit gross and unnecessary.

And that was ~20yrs ago!! I had no idea he’d started this up again!!

These are some weird ways to emphasize words, I gotta say. Sounds super weird when reading aloud with my inside voice.

I guess this was written by someone who doesn’t have an internal voice when they read.

Oh, last night I was sorting through my comics to see what to put on my new ereader, and I saw my complete archive of sexy losers comics. The pages are too big to work on the ereader, but at least I tried.

You know, people who want to have sex might have the courtesy of looking up basic information about the anatomy of their preferred partners before doing the deed - at least i knew basic shit like that at my first time.

If we take this comic seriously, the real issue here is that either he’s not asking her what she likes, she’s not telling him or she doesn’t know either.

Either way, him going to extreme lengths to learn how to please her is not the problem at hand.

Him having to call a radio broadcast because it’s easier to get the information that way than from his partner is a massive problem.

you overestimate how many folks do not have access to that information and were prohibited from learning about it until they get to second base. the fact the caller wants to learn, and is willing to become a better partner shows more commitment to me than folks who tell you to look up something.

          True.
But I think for this area of NSFW comics, I like seeing woman have the upperhand roughly in proportion to how male-centric most similar comics are. (not to mention hentai, dear god)

I hate the idea of a society that doesn’t value women well, reduces them to objects, silences their voices, etc…

Hi👋 I am a woman. I believe it’s adorable that this partner is willing to go through the initial embarrassment of calling a public radio to fuck me in ways that make pass out in ecstasy.
Now, fetch me my strapon, I got to show you a spot males miss in anatomy class.

Of course this is a satirical web comic, but if we take this seriosly, there’s only two ways this situation could happen:

              • Communication so extremely broken in this relationship that it’s easier for him to get the information he needs by calling a public radio broadcast.
              • She too has no clue at all about sex and thus can’t even tell him what she likes. (This is actually more common in women than one might think.)

In any way, piling on him for going to extreme lengths trying to learn how to satisfy her is not the problem in that relationship.

Instead, this comic plays into some real-life double standards that I really don’t like:

              • Sexual prowess is something that men are required to have and it’s shameful if they don’t have that skill. Sexual prowess is something that women don’t need to have and it can be seen as suspect if they do have that skill.
              • Sex is something that men do to women while the only part that women need to play during sex is be in the room and play starfish.
              • Men need to know what this specific woman likes without her communicating that at all.
              • What he likes doesn’t play into the situation at all. If he wants some pleasure out of sex, he needs to do it himself.

Try gender swapping the comic and there is no joke any more.
