  • the US military hasn’t won against an insurgency since that one was squashed in 1950 and before that was 1902. that is considering the us has untouchable industrial military complex, unbroken supply lines, and a monopoly on advanced tech.

an uprising IN THE CONTINENTAL US would be absolutely DEVASTATING. where all our infestructure is protected by a civil agreement not to destroy them… and with a nation as large as ours and armed as ours… arguments that the military just can’t be beat because of weaponry is laughable

  • well because 3 times the premium cost is still far below the cost of surgery. i am currently recovering from the removal of a cyst in my jaw that ate half my jaw leaving bone barely 3 playing cards thick in some areas. there was nothing i could have done to avoid it. the surgery too make the marsupilisation to drain the area alone was $3500, with only pain numbing. still awaiting the final surgery cost, but the anastegeologist is $1500 that i have to pay. and the stitches from my mandolin accident costs me an additional $1500.

this is ALL what i have to pay, while i have silver level coverage

  • the machine does not judge, the operator may, but that is not really a factor to many but is an abstract invasion. you can’t whisper your problems to the person sitting next to you without multiple companies trying to sell you a solution.

to someone in need an ai is an attractive option, this has no bearing on if that machine is qualified to do so. and while i get the urgency to move people over to any better option, shame is the quickest way to push someone to the end of the rope.

do not blame those who struggle. any port in a storm
