It’s important to understand that she wasn’t fired. The Fed is independent by law, and Trump is not her boss. He has no authority to fire her.

She and everyone he illegally “fires” should continue doing their jobs and ignore him until he tries to have them arrested or otherwise removed. Don’t make this shit easy for him. Make him have to struggle for every step towards fascism.

AFAIK, the Fed isn’t part of the executive branch. They earn their own money and submit excess to the Treasury. The people who would change the locks aren’t employees of the president.
So, like everything else, I assume the process will look like this. Lower courts and every appellate court will rule in favor of Lisa Cook and then the Supreme Court will overrule those verdicts 6-3. I’m starting to feel like maybe I have a gift for seeing the future.
And it’ll grind, grind, grind through all those courts for months. In the meantime, Little t gets his way. Maybe in this case, she’s ignoring this “firing,” but who else might not? At the very least, more chaos has been sown, more headlines are getting written, and more people are becoming that much more inured to the constant fascist shenanigans.
