If it’s a mostly wet filling like those you’e mentioned, the cut isn’t what’s making it fall out of the sandwich. Those tend to get pushed out the back and sides even without cutting it. Especially if it’s got a lot of if in there.
yeah this is my problem with this whole argument - too many sandwiches suffer from any cutting. build it, give it a good smoosh then use the bread to pinch in the ingredients that want to slide around like tomatoes or pickles.
